I am a first generation graduate with a BA in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego. Motivated by my personal experiences of transitioning between a variety of education systems (homeschool, public schools, and colleges), my research interests and experience lie within Sociology of Higher Education. Specifically, how students with varying backgrounds approach and experience college.
